Gorham, ME – Returning home to the town they grew up in, Ty and Ashley lead the team through a night at the historic Pinecrest Inn. It was built in 1753 by a local doctor and musician, and the original structure soon burned to the ground when it was set fire by an angry servant girl. An interesting fact that helps enforce one of the claims is that all the homeowners, including the current B&B owner who invited us, all had particular skills with music, and now music echoes through the empty halls of the inn, with no one around to be playing it.

Claims we were presented with include apparitions, hearing patrons sitting in rooms only to find no one there, music playing through the walls in empty rooms, and repeated object manipulation in the bar with wine glasses flying off shelves and crashing. Most of the stories were accumulated from overnight guests, but over the years previous residents who had lived in the house before it was a B&B would return and share their own experiences as well.

The Haunt ME team focused with an eye on debunking as much as they could for the current owner, while also focusing on documenting paranormal occurrences that they could not explain. In an effort to reduce noise contamination, one group was allocated to the bar and kitchen wing of the structure, while the other team would have full reign of the rest of the building. Heavy emphasis was placed on the spirit box this evening as K-II meters were disrupted in many smaller areas by old wiring.

Strange things happened throughout the night, but nothing threatening or overtly scary. The team encountered intelligent K-II activity, Carol saw a white light she couldn’t explain, a possible communication with a spirit named ‘Abner’ and possible interactions with children on the Spirit Box. The team had hoped to have more communication and provide answers to the owner who had invited them, but the majority of the encounters they had were one-way experiential.

Regardless, the team decided that this was, hands down, the most comfortable and plushiest investigation they had ever been on. Truly a relaxing night with the spirits.
